All three–Lang, Sears, and Logar–get a sabbatical of some form. Each receives a big salary, but none have any duties for the Fall.

This “let’s move on” mentality is short-sighted and very bad for WVU.

xcuseme: A good part of this is about the emergence of MIR, the coalescence of opposition that went well beyond the first watch. It is an awakening that hopefully will start the real change. In their last throes Garrison et al still made carried out business as usual (appointment without a search). This isn’t over, but things are being scrutinized on a broader front.

We’ve taken the last few days off to catch up on the lists but look at earlier lists; there are lots of things that you can do.

My guess is that if there’s another HK shoe to drop here it may be that, somewhere over the rainbow, there will be political/legal justice meted out in some form or fashion to The Machine and The Cronies, that there is always a basis for hopefulness for a happy and just ending, no matter how unlikely it appears today, because today is all about little Lara Ramsburg beating her chest like a four-year-old imitating King Kong and bleating: “Bring’em on!”
