Interesting all this talk about whether the Feds should or shouldn’t investigate and/or if they even have a right. No expert here but from a layman’s perspective I would think Heather’s testimonies to congressional sub-committees regarding global pharmaceutical issues may be a trouble area for her as she would have testified under oath relative to her credentials (or lack thereof!). May evoke some SEC concerns also. More symbolic to me is the political cess pool we have in West Virginia as when you look at the process of having someone at the State level look into this you realize how entangled the politicians are. For instance, the local Prosecuting Attorney maintains she would be in conflict because her husband works at the University (I note she uses that line when it is convenient for her!). That being the case, the next step is for the Governor to select a Special Prosecutor. Well he might not think so, but reality is that he is in conflict. The next step would then be for the Supreme Court to select a Special Prosecutor. Well none of the members can because they have all received significant donations from Mylan officials. I assume the next step would be for the U.S. Attorney in the Northern District to jump in. I don’t think she would have any conflict, but there is the possibility as her Father was and on occasion still is a prominent fundraiser for political candidates and has on numerous occasions solicited donations from the Mylan crowd. My point is that “cess pool” might be an understatement!

HK– you actually missed something here, so I feel it’s necessary to call you on it…. when the Manchin/Garrison cronies stated that you don’t need an academic to run the University, technically they are still correct, and he is still running WVU…. right into the ground….

WVU Anonymous - Garrison has suggested that she still believes she earned the degree. Remember she said she is not going to challenge the decision out of respect for her alma mater. And there have been no words of apology for putting WVU through this ordeal nor for the repercussions the university is suffering as a result.
